Manager of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)

What you will do

As a QHSE Manager at Otolift Stairlifts, you play a central role within a dynamic environment. You are responsible for implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System. This involves conducting both internal and external quality audits and ensuring a proper supplier process. Your excellent communication skills and experience leading a team of quality engineers enable you to train a small team of quality employees within Otolift. You can also effectively pass on your knowledge of national and international legislation to them. In short: you enhance awareness about quality and quality assurance within Otolift and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of this continually improves. Your tasks also include:

• You are responsible for implementing and maintaining an up-to-date Quality Management System.
• You ensure continuous improvement and unification of quality processes within the Otolift organization (in the Netherlands and abroad).
• You are responsible for the certification of products according to specific norms and legislation.
• You ensure a proper supplier quality process and conduct supplier audits.
• Managing and/or conducting internal audits and audits by external parties.
• You ensure continuous improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of Quality Assurance.
• You enhance awareness regarding quality and quality assurance throughout the company.
• Leading and training a small team of quality employees within the company.
• Supervising the warranty handling process.
• Reporting to the CEO.

**What we expect from you**
• You have a technical bachelor's or master's degree.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in a QM role in the international electrical and mechanical industry with own production facilities.
• You have an eye for detail, a curious mind, and are capable of conducting in-depth research and investigating issue.
• You have experience with risk management (FMEA, HARA) and problem-solving (8D, Root cause analysis, etc.).
• Experience in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
• You have experience leading a team of (localized) quality engineers.
• You have excellent communication skills.
• You are willing to travel internationally.
• You are Dutch and English speaking.
